About AfriRemoteLabs

Shared infrastructure. Accessible science. Stronger collaboration.

The instrument may be far away.
The opportunity shouldn’t be.

Afriremote Labs Limited is developing a shared infrastructure model that connects researchers and learners to real laboratory equipment through secure remote access.

Our Vision

An Africa where every researcher and learner can access the scientific tools they need to discover, innovate and solve problems, regardless of geography, disability or institutional resources.

Our Mission

To connect researchers, students and innovators across Africa to real scientific instruments through secure, inclusive remote access, combining shared laboratory capacity, scientific AI and reproducible data to advance education, research and innovation.

Participating institutions retain ownership of their instruments while contributing approved capacity to a wider scientific community. A common platform will support discovery, reservations, supervised experiments and research data.

AI assistants and digital twins will help users prepare, interpret and compare experiments. The foundation remains physical instrumentation and real measurements—with calibration, uncertainty and experimental provenance.
