Single heating segment
Import one strictly increasing-temperature heating scan. DSC requires a matching strictly increasing time column in seconds. Choose a single event range with justified baseline endpoints.
Calibrated mass, temperature, time and heat flow are required. Peak and derivative locations depend on preprocessing; the software does not replace instrument calibration.

Workflow, methods and limitations
- Import data or load a labeled synthetic example.
- Review the worksheet, header setting, columns and physical units.
- Choose method controls and run the analysis.
- Inspect numerical tables, plots, exclusions and method assumptions.
- Export the settings with the results for reproducibility.
TGA uses mass % as supplied or normalizes mg/g to the first retained mass. It reports residue, selected mass-loss percentage points, 5/10/50% loss temperatures relative to the initial mass and the most negative DTG temperature. DTG is d(mass%)/dT in %/°C, not a time derivative.
DSC integrates corrected heat flow against measured time in seconds. It supports W, mW and mW/mg, requires sample mass, and reports total J and J/g. Event endpoints define a linear baseline when selected; the sign convention is applied to corrected heat flow.
Approximate tangent onset/endset use the strongest local derivative on either side of the peak and intersection with the corrected zero baseline. These are not standardized instrument onset measurements. Inspect plots and bounds; overlapping events may invalidate the interpretation.
Not implemented: modulated DSC separation, calibrated Cp extraction, glass-transition step fitting, multi-rate Kissinger/Ozawa/Friedman kinetics, deconvolution or full commercial thermal-suite equivalence. Cooling, isothermal and multi-cycle scans must be separated/reformatted before use.

Uploaded measurements are processed locally. Native proprietary instrument files, PDF/image extraction and calibrated medical analysis are not supported. Excel formulas use stored values. Host over HTTP/HTTPS because computation uses workers. Reloading clears the session.
